Semhof Bio alfalfapellets Standard are a protein level above the alfalfapellets medium and below the alfalfapellets fat. Roughly speaking, they reflect an average alfalfa available on the market. They are an optimal feed to compensate for seasonal fluctuations and deficits in your roughage ration. If you feed Semhof Bio alfalfapellets Standard in addition, you can provide essential amino acids, minerals, trace elements and vitamins on an organic basis in a natural way through healthy and above all very low-sugar green fodder - you can thus also enhance your heurations. This product serves as a high-quality roughage supplement (or even a partial replacement for horses with dental problems). When harvesting our alfalfa, we take great care to meet the respective requirements of different horses in their species. With its approximately 14% protein content, the standard alfalfa is not overloaded and can integrate particularly well into the digestion and metabolism of the horse.
We know our products exactly and know when and how to use them best. Our advice is non-binding and free of charge, honest and competent.

You can feed Semhof Bio alfalfapellets Standard soaked or dry. When fed wet, a ratio of 1:2 (1 cup alfalfa pellets and 2 cups water) with a short swelling time of 30-45 minutes is ideal. For horses that eat slowly and thus salivate sufficiently, dry feeding may be possible. For smaller doses, you can generally administer the pellets dry. Also suitable for dosage via automatic feeders.
