Semhof Bio Heupellets consist of the best, late mown organic meadows from species-rich plant populations from the 1st cut. All meadows were cut with a special, environmentally friendly double knife mower. This procedure protects the feed and the environment and serves the conservation of countless amphibians and insects. Due to the predominant drying and withering in the sun, the haypellets have the typical hay character. They have a wonderful aromatic scent, which makes them very well accepted as fodder. With our haypellets you can supplement or enhance your heuration.
For old horses as well as horses with dental problems, they are also ideal as roughage replacements, possibly in combination with our Semhof Organic Lucerne Pellets - we will be happy to advise you!
You can feed Semhof Bio Heupellets soaked or dry. When fed wet, a ratio of 1:2 (1 cup haypellets and 2 cups water) with a short swelling time of 30-45 minutes is ideal. Dry feeding is also possible for horses that eat slowly and thus salivate sufficiently. For smaller doses you can administer the Haypellets dry. Also suitable for dosage via automatic feeders.
